Notecram ("we", "us") provides a study platform that turns notes and PDFs into flashcards and quizzes. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
2. Information we collect
- Account info: email address and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in.
- Study content: notes, PDFs, decks, flashcards, and quiz results you create or upload.
- Usage data: basic analytics like pages visited and features used so we can improve the product.
3. How we use your data
- Provide and maintain the study features you use.
- Generate flashcards and summaries via AI based on your inputs.
- Improve performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- Communicate important account or service updates.
4. AI processing
When you use AI features, the content you submit may be sent to trusted AI providers for processing. We do not sell your study content, and we do not use it to train public models.
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers required to run Notecram (hosting, authentication, AI processing) and when required by law. We never sell your personal data.
6. Data retention & deletion
Your content is kept while your account is active. You can delete decks or your entire account at any time; deletion removes your content from active systems.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to make a request.
9. Children
Notecram is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the product or by email.
