About Notecram

Notecram is a study tool that turns any notes, PDF or textbook chapter into flashcards, a practice quiz and a clean summary in about 30 seconds. We started Notecram in 2024 after watching friends spend more time formatting flashcards than actually learning the material.

Our mission

We believe revision should be active, fast and a little bit fun. Most students still rely on rereading and highlighting — two of the least effective study techniques according to cognitive science research. Notecram automates the boring part (making cards, writing questions, summarising) so you can spend your time on what actually moves the needle: active recall and spaced repetition.

How Notecram works

You paste notes or upload a PDF. Our AI reads the material, identifies what's testable, and generates a deck of flashcards, a multiple-choice quiz and a structured summary. Everything is editable. Nothing is locked behind a signup wall — you can try the full flow free, no account required.
