Frequently asked questions

What is the Pomodoro Technique?

Study in 25-minute focus blocks separated by 5-minute breaks. After 4 blocks take a longer 15–30 minute break. It's the most studied focus method in education.

Why 25 minutes?

Most people can hold deep focus for around 25 minutes before attention fades. Short, frequent breaks reset attention and prevent burnout.

Does Pomodoro work for everyone?

Most students benefit, but creative work sometimes needs longer blocks (50/10). Try both and keep whichever lets you finish more sessions.
